Weymouth Power Boat Club

Welcome Aboard!!
Club Profile
The Weymouth Powerboat Cruising Club was founded by Bob, Ruth and Terry towards the end of 2004. The
club started out as a small group of friends with a common interest, pottering about in boats of all
shapes and sizes. In those early days of its formation, the aim of the club was simple, to provide
the means by which people with an interest in motorboats could meet others with a similar interest,
to share information and knowledge and cruise in company. The club has also been able to negotiate
significant discounts with local companies and a significant discount on the Portland Harbour pass
is also available to members.
Club meetings currently take place in ‘Chapelhay Tavern’, a friendly bar near to Weymouth Harbour. In addition
to organising social events onshore, the club encourages members to arrange events through the Member’s Only
Forum.
